Expert Consultancy Services
We are, at our heart, consultants in acquisitions and mergers. Consultancy has been integral to our business since inception; our experience allows us to draw upon our previous work.

Additionally, as we have been working with dozens of different companies, we have knowledge and experience from each that we can bear when working with clients on their specific challenges.
​
We typically start all of our new client engagements with consultation in various areas of their business, including procurement and revenue management. Sometimes, this is a general discussion around the client’s pain points; they often don’t understand why their reporting differs from system to system, why their applications don’t talk to one another, or other areas that may confound them.
​
In many cases, however, an immediate and costly situation needs to be corrected. Our consultancy then focuses on determining the real issues and sources, leading to a discovery and scoping exercise.
​
Once we plan our course of action, the client is free to correct their course or more frequently, engage AV8 to deliver the change through our implementation and project management services.

Project Management

Your consultants at AV8 Solutions have cut their teeth on implementing successful projects; we deliver projects across all business areas.

Our clients have asked us to manage implementations of Finance, HR and ERP, CRM, EPoS, and Activity management applications into their tech stack.
​
For each project we manage, we provide full transparency, access to project documentation and up-to-date information to our clients and vendors, keeping all parties fully aware of tasks, milestones and deliverables.
​
To ensure a smooth transition when a project is handed back to a client, AV8 Solutions will train internal teams.
Interim Service
Once the AV8 consultants have implemented our client’s solutions, we will facilitate the managed handover to internal, vendor or third-party support teams (or a combination of support teams). Any remaining or longer-term items on the RAID logs are also fully documented for handover to the appropriate units or to diarise action for a future date.

Some clients engage AV8 to manage many companies with a modern vendor list. We can manage day-to-day support and reporting and keep an eye on each application’s renewal date and notice periods; this gives our clients early warning that a contract is due for renewal and provides an advanced opportunity to renew, amend or withdraw from that vendor.

IT Director Service

We often find that some groups need additional strategic guidance and direction. For those companies, we offer our IT Director Service (ITDS), where we act as the co-IT Director.
​
As well as our ITDS service, we can act as interim CTO or CIO, allowing us to integrate ourselves into our clients’ businesses to identify technical weaknesses, put forward recovery strategies, and implement solutions to strengthen operational processes.
Our ITDS provides forward-thinking for a short-term engagement, lasting from three months to several years. This is not a substitute for hands-on technical engineers or support teams; as interim IT directors, we take a holistic view of the client’s environment and present options for future-proofing the applications and services the client deploys onsite. As we work with many groups, we have the experience to understand not only tech models that work but the ones that can operate successfully within your unique environment.
